[A] While saving the Bill of Material(BOM) as spreadsheet, you have two options: normal and exploded view.
[B] If the BOM is a parent BOM and is linked to child BOMs, i.e. if the finished good is made of semi-finished products that have their own BOM, then the exploded view will display the raw materials of the semi-finished goods as well.
[C] Normal view will not display the raw materials of the semi-finished products
[D] Note that the exploded and normal views are the same for BOMs if they are not linked to another child BOMs.
